Middle School Families,
There are two very important events happening this week in the Middle School! First, this Thursday, March 14th is our annual joint PSO meeting with the Central School PSO as part of its students' transition to the Middle School. Please join us as we welcome new families to the building. We meet at 9:30am in the Media Center. Light refreshments will be served.
And second, it is finally showtime for this year's spring musical - Annie Jr.!! The cast is excited and ready to share all their hard work with the community. It is not to be missed!!! Please join them on Saturday, March 16th at 7:00pm or Sunday, March 17th at 2:00pm. Tickets are $5.00 each and can be purchased either at the door or during Middle School lunch periods this Wednesday through Friday. Concessions and carnations will be available for purchase as well. The book fair is coming!
The Stone Age “Reading Rocks” Spring book fair is just around the corner. During the week of March 25th-29th the middle school students will be able to shop during the day with their ELA classes or during EI with permission. Students are able to use cash, check made out to BBHMS PSO or now may have parents add money onto an e-wallet card that will return change directly to your bank account at the end of the fair. We are also in need of volunteers to help run the book fair. Volunteers earn a $5 coupon to spend at the bookfair for each shift worked. Volunteers, please sign up here.
Middle School ELA teacher, Ms. Piechowiak, is still looking for volunteers to help students during their EI period. Volunteers would help students with homework, review work, presentations, reading and Achieve articles. Its only a half hour of time.

BBH Custom License Plates Now Available
Brecksville-Broadview Heights City School District was one of three public school districts in the state of Ohio that was approved to sell specialty plates to benefit the social-emotional well being of its students. The new Brecksville-Broadview Heights City Schools logo license plates are now available to purchase. There is an additional cost of $40, and the school district will receive $30 back from the sale of each BBH logo license plate. You may purchase this new logo license plate at www.oplates.com or at your local deputy registrar office. When ordering, please find directions here.

BEE LUCKY RAFFLE : Official Rules
PRIZES: Beginning 3/1 for the entire month of March 2019, there will be a drawing each day (Saturday and Sunday drawings will take place on the following Monday). One ticket will be pulled during morning announcements and winners announced. The SELLER of that ticket will receive a $10 gift card and the BUYER on the same ticket will receive a $25 gift card. On Fridays only, there will be CASH JACKPOTS. The winning ticket drawn on Fridays will win a cash prize: the SELLER will win $25 cash and the BUYER will win $50 cash. Odds of winning depend on number of tickets sold.
PRIZE PICK UP: The winning SELLER will need come to the Office to sign for the prize envelope and will also be responsible for delivering the prize to the BUYER. BUYER will be contacted by PSO that they won a prize.
GRAND PRIZE: For every 5 tickets sold, the SELLER will receive 1 entry into the Grand Prize drawing on 4/1/19. Prize is $500 cash paid to the SELLER of the ticket. Parent of the winner will be contacted for prize pick up if a student wins the Grand Prize.
PROCEEDS: Fundraiser is sponsored by BBHMS PSO and proceeds will fund PSO programs and activities, which are designed to support the MS student body.

To sign up for this reward program, please follow these steps:

2. Simply log into your Heinen's Tasteful Rewards profile page by entering your email address and password.
3. Select "My Profile" in the upper right-hand corner of the page.
4. Select a school from the pull-down list at the bottom of your profile page, and then click the "Save Changes" link.
5. Use your Heinen's Preferred Card each time you shop to earn money for your local school. Donations are based on purchases made between September and April.
6. You are required to select (or re-select) a school each school year to receive the annual donation. Only one school can be selected per household.

Please send in your Box Tops in a ziplock bag marked for the Special Education Department. All proceeds collected from Box Tops benefits the Special Education Department.
