Join the BBHSF by celebrating #GivingTuesday!
This year, the Brecksville-Broadview Heights Schools Foundation is joining the #GivingTuesday movement. #GivingTuesday is a global day of giving that harnesses the collective power of individuals, communities and organizations to encourage philanthropy and to celebrate generosity worldwide.
BBHSF has a goal of raising $8,000 for this campaign. Every dollar donated to the BBHSF between now and #GivingTuesday (November 27th 2018) will go towards classroom enrichment grants in our school district. Please visit the Brecksville-Broadview Heights Schools Foundation facebook page, share the #GivingTuesday post, and encourage your friends and neighbors to help the BBHSF "support a legacy of fine education"!
BBH Custom License Plates Now Available
Brecksville-Broadview Heights City School District was one of three public school districts in the state of Ohio that was approved to sell specialty plates to benefit the social-emotional well being of its students. There is an additional cost of $40, and the school district will receive $30 back from the sale of each BBH logo license plate. You may purchase this new logo license plate at www.oplates.com or at your local deputy registrar office. When ordering, please find directions here.
Sign up to decorate the Swarm Board!
Are you interested in reserving the bulletin board in the Middle School cafeteria for a 2 week period, to display pictures or information about your group, event or sports team? We refer to the board as the "SWARM" board. Why? Because that's what they call a similar board at the High School.
Because there are usually more organizations who want slots than the number of slots available, every organization is limited to 1 time period.
SWARM Board time-slots begin every other week on Fridays. If there is no school on Friday, then the time-slot begins on Thursday.
Parents/students/staff need to provide their own materials. On the last day of your time-slot, remember to assign somebody to take down your decorations.
